Law & Order: Organized Crime[]
After Henry Cole refused to move out of his apartment to make way for the construction of a new casino, gangster Vincent Bishop hired Russo to kill Henry using poisonous rats. However, Russo ended up hiring small-time criminal Kenny Kyle to murder Henry. After Kenny suffered a seizure due to being bitten by poisonous rats, Kenny escaped the hospital and went to meet Vincent and Russo to collect the payoff money. When Kenny arrived at the club to get Russo's money, Russo went down to the VIP section of the club where Kenny followed him. However, Kenny ended up assaulting Detective Jamie Whelan and then tried to escape from the cops by stealing a car.
While Kenny was on a killing spree and trying to hide from the police, Kenny arranged to meet with his childhood friend, Dede Hayes, so that they could run away together. However, Vincent ended up ordering Russo to murder Kenny and knew that Dede was going to meet with him so he conspired with Dede to let them finish the job. When Kenny arrived at Dede's house, Dede signalled to Russo and another hitman that Kenny was here before going into another room.
Kenny ended up killing the other hitman and shot Russo, who managed to escape. However, Kenny found out that Dede was a part of this and strangled Dede to death before stealing another woman's car. After Kenny was arrested by Sergeant Ayanna Bell and Detective Bobby Reyes, Reyes went undercover as a prisoner to get information from Kenny about who ordered him to kill Henry Cole.
However, after Reyes ended up getting stabbed in prison, Detective Elliot Stabler of the NYPD's Organized Crime Squad meets with Kenny and managed to get more information out of him. Kenny told Stabler that Russo ordered him to murder Henry Cole. Russo then became the prime suspect in their investigation which resulted in Stabler meeting with the FBI captain, Albert Nylan, to work together to arrest Russo.
Stabler and Whelan then watched Russo as he left a building and got into a limo. Stabler and Whelan then tailed Russo but then Russo's driver noticed that the police were following him. Russo then started a chase which was realised by Stabler and Whelan. Russo then got out his gun to start shooting but they ended up getting cornered at the airport. Stabler and Whelan exited the car and pointed their guns at Russo who got out of the car. Russo pulled a gun, forcing Stabler to shoot him dead.
