Don Armage was the Shogun and leader of the Space Shogunate Jark Matter and the main antagonist of Uchu Sentai Kyuranger. He is an enigmatic being who conquered the entire universe whose ultimate goal is to destroy and recreate the universe free of suffering. He also is the overarching antagonist of Lupinranger VS Patranger VS Kyuranger.
He is mainly voiced by Atsuki Tani who previously voiced Chanbaano in Kyukyu Sentai GoGoFive, Mercenary Org in Mirai Sentai Timeranger and later voiced Don Arkage in Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger. When possessing Quervo, he was voiced by Daisuke Namikawa who also voiced Absolute Hades God N Ma in Mahou Sentai Magiranger.

The formation of Don Armage.
The being known as Don Armage was originally born out of the combined negative emotions of the universe and desired to turn the entire universe into a miserable wasteland. To do this, he formed the Jark Matter and set about collecting Planetium to build a universe destroying bomb. 300 years ago, the Jark Matter declared war on the Space Federation in an attempt to seize control of the entire universe. However, their invasion was opposed by the warriors of the 88 constellation systems led by Tsurugi Ohtori. The warriors eventually confronted the Shogun of the Jark Matter, Don Armage himself, but the Shogun managed to kill all but two of them, Tsurugi and his best friend Quervo. Tsurugi attempted an attack to destroy Don Armage that would drain his own immortality and thus kill him, but he was stopped by Quervo, who took a blow meant for Tsurugi.
However, Don Armage and the Jark Matter later returned and conquered the universe by invading and conquering the 88 Constellation systems, eventually usurping the Space Federation as the dominant intergalactic government. Don Armage later established the Jark Matter's capital on the planet Southern Cross in the Minami Juuji System. In exchange for allowing Don Armage to set up the Jark Matter's headquarters on the planet, Southern Cross's ruler, the Southern King, was made Karo of the Minami Juuji System.
Kyuranger[]
With control of the universe all but assured, Don Armage is content with staying in the Southern Cross system and waiting for enough Planetium to be collected so that he can build his bomb. However, Eriedrone sends word that a group have begun resisting the Jark Matter; the Kyurangers. After punishing Eriedrone for his failure, he tells him to deal with them but Eriedrone is killed so Don Armage sends Ikargen and Madakko to kill the Kyurangers. When Ikargen is killed, Don Armage orders Scorpio to attack them but he plans on betraying Don Armage and taking over the Jark Matter so he is later killed. After repeatedly failing to defeat the Kyurangers, he sends his most elite warriors; Vice Shoguns Tecchu, Akyanba and Kukuruga but they are also killed.
Half of the Kyurangers later travel to the past to see what happened after Don Armage's battle with Tsurugi. While observing that Tsurugi really did kill Don Armage, the Shogun later reveals himself to have survived and attacks the Orion spaceship as it is heading to Earth, causing it to crash. As the Kyurangers leave the downed ship, Don Armage attacks and badly injures them. He later reappears when the Kyurangers and Orion are fighting the Vice Shoguns. Upon his appearance, the Kyurangers attack and seemingly kill him, but Armage manages to survive and shoot Lucky from afar. Emerging out of the smoke, Armage reveals his true form to the Kyurangers. Though Don Armage appears to have been finally destroyed by Shishi Red Orion, when the Kyurangers travel back to the present, they discover that Don Armage has survived and remains in control of the universe.
Noticing that Tsurugi Ohtori is gathering the Kyutama needed to break the barrier protecting Southern Cross, Don Armage orders Doctor Anton to protect the constellation systems. Anton informs the Shogun that the relevant Karos have their orders and that Mecha Madakko is present with him on planet Ghem in the Perseus System. After learning that the barrier has been broken by the Kyurangers, Don Armage sends Aslan to eliminate Lucky. After the Southern King is killed by Lucky, Don Armage's image appears before Lucky and Aslan. Armage reveals to Lucky that his father is a puppet before recreating his mask to bring Aslan back under his control.
Don Armage later reveals to the Kyurangers his true form, the body of Quervo; revealing to the Kyurangers that Armage has been inhabiting Quervo's corpse. During the battle to destroy Jark Matter's Planetium Bomb, Don Quervo is defeated by the combined powers of the Kyurangers and causing Don Armage to exit Quervo's body and leave him at the mercy of the Kyurangers. After Quervo dies trying to make one final charge at Tsurugi, Armage takes the chance to possess the Kyuranger's body, revealing this was his plan all along. Armage then fires an energy blast at the Kyurangers but Shou Ronpo sacrifices himself to block it before being absorbed by Don Armage. After retreating back to the Orion, the Kyurangers confront Don Armage once again with the Shogun sending his entire army after them. Despite their best efforts most of the Kyurangers are overwhelmed and defeated by Armage's army; leaving only Hammie and Lucky to confront Armage. However, Armage strikes down Hammie before absorbing all of the Kyurangers save for Lucky into him, allowing him to power up further. However, he soon loses his new power when Lucky crams his Kyutama into Armage's body which reunites the Kyurangers and allows them all to break free from Armage, now fully powered up thanks to the Planetium he absorbed.
Not done yet, Armage absorbs everyone in the universe except for the Kyurangers to assume his final form to fight the Kyurangers, proclaiming that he has become the Universe. Initially overpowering the Kyurangers them, Armage explains his origins to them and how he intends to create a universe of suffering for everyone. However, the Kyurangers refuse to give up and, with the power of the universe on their side, manage to defeat Armage, though the victory is short lived as Armage grows giant. Summoning the Kyutama, the Kyurangers defeat Armage again with Kyutamakin and force the Shogun to release everyone he absorbed back to their original planets. Getting up to face the Kyurangers one last time, Armage sends a blast of dark energy to send Lucky out into space, but Lucky manages to overpower Armage's attack and return to Earth to combine his power with the other eleven Kyurangers to ultimately destroy Armage, finally killing off the evil space tyrant.
Kyuranger Final Live Tour[]
In a parallel universe, the war with the Jark Matter never ended so that universe's Don Armage is sill alive. Don Armage sends Eriedrone with some Indavers and Tsuyoindavers to lure the Kyurangers to him. Lucky confronts him alone only to be possessed by the Don. After his footsoldiers are defeated, Don Lucky appears and attacks Tsurugi before revealing himself as Don Armage who promptly absorbs all of the Kyurangers besides Tsurugi and Kotaro who dodged and make their escape although Armage is unconcerned since they have a significant disadvantage. Shocked, Don Armage can only question how he can lose before the Kyurangers finish him off once and for all with the All-Star Final Crash. Mortally wounded, Don Armage rises to his feet before screaming out Dark Shishi Red's catchphrase and being obliterated.
