| “ | Coroni: I mean, what can the President of the United States do? Donald Trump: Yeah, that Obama, what a loser. Hey, wait a minute! I'm president! It's so ridiculous even I keep forgetting it. |

Donald John Trump is one of the main antagonists in the ITV reboot of Spitting Image and its vodcast spinoff The Rest is Bullshit.
The show depicts him during his incumbency as the 45th President of the United States. His portrayal is characterised by an idiotic lack of understanding and awareness of global affairs, immunology against the coronavirus and childish quips at his political rivals.
He was voiced by Matt Forde, who also voiced Boris Johnson and Keir Starmer in the same show.
Physical appearance[]
Trump's caricature draws on his tanned, orange skin. He is given a toupee which is a sentient, caterpillar-like being that often escapes from his head. He is seen wearing suits.
Personality[]
Trump demonstrates egotistical tendencies and will stop at nothing to retain his political power. He is also depicted as a stereotypical businessman, seeking to enter into negotiations and cut deals with any representative of an issue he encounters. Despite his self-adulation, Trump is easily manipulated by others who appeal to his ego.
Trump also shows very limited understanding of important issues, and often acts in error based on his ignorance. He thrives from his voter's support and often panders to them with contradictory statements and demagoguery.
Biography[]
Background[]
Trump is introduced as him in 2020, his final year as President. His primary focus is to win his re-election campaign against Joe Biden and the Democrat Party, whilst also promoting his family to positions in the White House. His wife, Melania, begrudges being First Lady and shows clear distaste toward Trump.
Spitting Image[]
Trump is seen visiting the Centre for Disease Control (CDC), where he shows a clear lack of awareness of the COVID-19 vaccine's development stages. After harassing a female scientist, Trump instead proposes that he meet the virus one-on-one to negotiate a deal to stop further spread. He is shrunk down to a molecular level, where he meets Coroni, a representation of the coronavirus.
Trump offers Coroni a deal whereby it can infect the elderly (whom he claims are men over 90 and women over 27) in exchange to not infect him. Coroni asks to be allowed to infect fat people, which Trump declines and says he can have only fat women. Trump tells Coroni he already permitted it to have the poor and people of colour, which Coroni explains he never asked for (analogising how COVID-19 disproportionately infected people of colour living in deprived areas due to insufficient measures).
The deal falls through, but a persistent Trump sprays Coroni with hydroxychloroquine (a medicine initially believed and supported by Trump as an effective cure to COVID-19, which proved to be completely ineffective). Coroni is unfazed by the attack, which Trump admires and finds Coroni persistence a positive quality. The pair then form a bond.
Trump then reverts back to his original size, taking the virus out into the laboratory to the horror of the scientists and Vice President Mike Pence. Trump then fires Pence on the spot and replaces him with Coroni.
Coroni infects Trump with COVID-19 and is placed in quarantine. Trump breaks his quarantine and drives around with Coroni, who infects Trump's driver. Trump then holds a presidential address assuring the public that he is fine. During the address, Coroni begins to feel unwell and turns bright orange and grows a hairpiece similar to Trump's. Trump informs Coroni that after being exposed to him for so long, Coroni now has POTUS-45.
In bed one evening, Trump complains to Melania about the backlash he received from Twitter regarding communications he sent out. As a result of Trump spreading misinformation on the platform, he is subjected to instant fact-checking and is remotely shocked with electricity when he lies (which happens when he claims he "never lies"). After repeated shocks from a throng of lies, Trump's heart stops briefly, but is restarted when he lies again about loving Melania.
Fearing a loss in the upcoming election, Trump attempts to win over voters by enacting a global policy. Pence suggests Trump try resolve the Indian-Chinese border conflict. Trump fails to understand this when it is explained to him, only starting to get the picture when Pence has to resort to puppet dolls to explain the conflict.
At a rally, Trump introduces Melania, his daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner. He also brings out Coroni, who Trump throws into the crowd, resulting in a superspreading event. Later, Trump begins to concern himself with the non-issue Republican talking point of voter fraud, and tells Pence of his desire to have a free and fair election by personally checking each mail-in ballot and destroy those which vote for the Democrat Party.
Pence supports this policy, but advises the US Post Office would never permit that to happen, but Trump assures Pence that is of no issue as he has just appointed Kushner as Postmaster General. Trump holds a televised address where he accuses an individual of voter fraud who is not a US citizen. Trump tries to show footage of the fraud in question, but instead shows a tape of him in a flirtatious scenario with an anonymous woman. Pence destroys the TV to protect Trump's reputation, and tells him they have identified the voter as Prince Harry who moved to California in the wake of the controversy surrounding him and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
Pence discovers Prince Harry actually voted for Trump (due to failing to understand the ballot system), and tells Trump they now cannot nullify his vote as they need every vote they can get. As such, Trump rapidly declares Prince Harry a US citizen which validates his vote for Trump, but his citizenship is once again swiftly revoked after Trump incorrectly assumes there are not 50 states.
Trump conducts another address to try clear-up confusion on the voting system, telling swing states to vote and traditionally Democrat-supporting states not to. On Election Night, Pence chastises Trump for his policies during his incumbency and grows tired of his incompetence. He tries to give Trump a reality check. Pence abandons Trump, realising he is a lost cause. Trump is also abandoned by his penis, who had been offered a job on Fox News.
After Trump's loss in the election, he begins to promote his family on Trump TV as his new venture. When leaving the White House, Trump and his family seek to take every last thing they can including official presidential portraits. Pence tells Trump Biden is about to arrive, and as such, Trump leaves a suspended bucket as a prank for him. However, on his way out, Trump falls for his own prank. Vladimir Putin emerges from a cupboard, where he twists Trump's nipples in a final show of humiliation for the disgraced president.
Spitting Image: The Rest is Bullsh*!t[]
In the 2025 web series, Trump returns in the first episode. He is first seen having phone sex with Vladimir Putin, which is revealed to have been a ploy in order for Putin to record the call to humiliate Trump.
He later appears after Prince Harry and Paddington Bear, co-hosts of The Rest is Bulsh*!t podcast, use CACK, an AI, to generate a sketch. There, Trump fails to understand Starmer's hypocritical warnings about not bombing states who support Palestine. Ukranian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrives, which Trump confuses as his food delivery courier. CACK then asks Prince Harry and Paddington how to change the AI generated sketch, where they ask it to make Starmer and Trump kiss and have sexual intercourse (to CACK's resentment).
Later in the podcast, Zelenskyy calls Trump and performs Don't You (Forget About Me) by Simple Minds as an allegory for Trump's decreased support of Ukraine during its war with Russia.
When Vice President JD Vance delivers a speech at the "Mournathon" for Charlie Kirk, Trump interjects and has Vance fellate him. Later on, Trump and Elon Musk are seen putting their previous conflicts to rest and begin to make out, with Vance once again being brought in to fellate the two.
In another podcast, Trump meets with Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss peace plans amid the conflict in Palestine. Netanyahu, who is depicted as a Jedi from Star Wars, uses the "Judea mind control" to brainwash Trump, and makes him agree to do and say whatever Netanyahu pleases.
In a later episode, Trump calls out the BBC for editing his speeches. The sketch is then humorously cut to have Trump say:
| “ | Trump: It has come to my attention that the BBC, the so-called Biased Bullshit Corporation of Britain, England, has been editing my speeches. Great speeches to make me sound bad. I just wanna set the record straight for the people of Britland. I am [cut] a [cut] bad [cut] person. [cut] With a [cut] tiny [cut] member. [cut] Everybody's saying it. [cut] I am... David Attenborough: The worst [cut] Trump: President ever. [cut] I like [cut] wearing a [cut] dress [cut] and pole [cut] dancing [cut] for rich [cut] men. [cut] BBC, is a tremendous [cut] organisation [cut] everbody's saying it. [cut] And, I do not know [cut] why [cut] Disney [cut] have [cut] dropped [cut] Doctor [cut] Who. by the way. [cut] Bigly. |
„ |
| ~ Trump's humorous and meta retort regarding the numerous edits made to his speeches. |
Later, Trump is seen speaking with his brain about the outcome of the New York mayoral election of Zohran Mamdani. His brain recommends bombing Mamdani, and after that bombing Nigeria. Trump mentions the amount of oil in Nigeria means he cannot do that, to which his brain recommends bombing Hogwarts, Narnia and Middle Earth. Trump mentions he will not bomb Mordor as he supports Sauron.
On Thanksgiving, Trump hosts the annual Thanksgiving celebrations outside the White House, where Putin arrives and gives thanks for the Ukrainian peace deal which entirely benefits Russia. The turkey is Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who protests over the deal.
Quotes[]

Trivia[]
- The pre-amble of Trump's diatribe against the BBC refers to Britain as Britain, England, despite England being a state of Britain, and not the reverse. This is meant to showcase Trump's lack of awareness of non-American states' structures.
- Much of Trump's character is influenced from real-life scandals and events. In Trump's case, these include:
