Donatello Fadda is one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside Yiddles Milligan) of Season 4 of the FX series Fargo. He is the boss and patriarch of the Fadda Crime Family, and father of Josto and Gaetano Fadda, until his death at the hands of the psychotic serial killer, Oraetta Mayflower.
He was portrayed by Tommaso Ragno.
Biography[]
When the Milligan Concern Mafia was the most powerful criminal organization in Kansas City, the Fadda Crime Family, led by Donatello Fadda, made a deal with Owney "Yiddles" Milligan, following the tradition, they traded their sons, Yiddles had previously used this to betray a previous crime syndicate using his son, Patrick Milligan, however, this time, Donatello convinced Patrick to betray his own family, killing every one of them, and Donatello forced Patrick to shoot his own father dead.
Years later, Donatello had to make the same deal with Cannon Limited, led by Loy Cannon, Loy delivered his youngest son "Satchel", and Donatello delivered his youngest son "Zero", however when they were driving back to his headquarters, two kids playing with toy guns accidentally shot Donatello Fadda in the neck, he was rushed to a hospital but after Josto talked to the psychopatic nurse Oraetta Mayflower, she misunderstood that he wanted his father death. Oraetta entered Donatello's room in the middle of the night, killed him and stole his ring.
Donatello's death as well as his missing ring, would later cause the mafia to turn against Josto and Oraetta ordering their execution at the hands of Joe Bulo.
