“ | Beings that are results of imperfect craving and avarice. The Villains. That primal craving leads to the destruction of civilization and chaos in society. I'm also a villain like them. I only have one reason for my existence... | „ |
~ Dongjin Kim's introductory thoughts. |
Dongjin Kim is the villainous main protagonist of A Useless Villain. He is a psychic high school student who gets caught in a time loop every time he tries to kill someone.
Personality[]
Dongjin Kim is antisocial, arrogant, and unempathetic towards others due to his powers. He rarely displays emotion or interest in anybody but himself. For unknown reasons, he strives to become a god-like villain passing his onto judgment onto others. He is fully willing to kill his classmates (although it's undone by a time loop) simply because they annoyed him or if he's performing an experiment. He is extremely determined to find the person who is placing him under this loop, doing so by killing as many people as possible and hoping he will get the Time Warper.
It is implied that he actually does care about other people but tries to deny it, as seen when he is thankful of Sangnam's friendship for a moment, also warning Sangnam not to come to school when he plans to kill everyone there. He also looks away when a naked girl approaches him. He is fully aware of the fact that his cruel actions are undone, so it is unknown he would actually feel if he really killed somebody.
Powers and Abilities[]
Dongjin Kim is a powerful psychic capable of lifting entire buildings. He is fully capable of killing his entire school near instantly, although time resets when he kills anybody.
