Donald "Donny" Herrera is the main character of the video Consequences by Key and Peele. He is a former gangster who comes to Central High School to deliver a speech about Life Choices.

Background[]
Donny is first seen walking onto the stage and telling every student that he was just like them. He claims that putting milk cartons on his head led to him getting AIDS. This makes the principal and the other students confused. He also claims to steal from his family and sister which supposedly resulted in a piano falling on his head, giving him "88 concussions, one for each key".
He states that continuing to commit crimes led to him being "trampled by a herd of buffalo". This makes the principal think that Donny is embellishing parts of his story. The final straw for the principal was when Donny said that hanging out with tough kids and smoking cigarettes allegedly caused him to be "shot out of a catapult into the mouth of a dragon".
He then tries to gain attention of everyone by saying he committed a drive-by shooting at his own daughter's quinceañera, killing everybody dead but following that, he said that by doing so he was sucked into a wormhole and transported to another dimension where he had to introduce his own parents to each other to ensure his existence.
Everyone then ignores him, making him smoke crack. By doing so, a wrecking ball hits him in the stomach, making him yell "CONSEQUENCES" out loud, proving that he wasn't lying about the story
Personality[]
Donny Herrera is an energetic and an outspoken individual who always opens up to everyone. He was also seen as a liar but after smoking crack and being hit with a wrecking ball, that was later disproven. His life was melancholic and disheartening. He stated that no one believed in him and therefore got really deep into crime.
Trivia[]
- Donny stated that he did a drive-by shooting at his daughter's quinceañera killing everyone. However it is not known whether his daughter was involved in the shooting or died in the shooting
- Donny was hit with a wrecking ball by smoking crack. This could mean that Donny was actually telling the truth all along about how doing something bad has bad consequences.
- Donny Herrera might be of Latin-American origin due to his last name and him attending his daughter's quinceañera, which is more of a Latin tradition
- The part where Donny stated that he had to introduce his own parents to each other to ensure his existence, was a comedic reference to Back To The Future
