Dorkus Aurelis (better known simply as Dorkus) is the main antagonist of Planet Sheen, a spin-off from the Jimmy Neutron franchise.

He was voiced by Jeff Bennett.

Appearance

Dorkus is a tall, greenish Zeenuian almost fully covered in a Grim Reaper-esque cloak. He has big yellow teeth and untrimmed fingernails.

Personality

Dorkus is a brooding, temperamental individual who seems to be easily agitated by a large number of things, namely being ridiculed for his name and anything that damages or destroys his house.

History

Before Sheen Esteves arrived on Planet Zeenu, Dorkus lived a relatively normal life. He was the Emperor's Supreme Royal Adviser, but he lost the position after Sheen become close friends with the Emperor of Zeenu, which led to the Emperor firing Dorkus and giving the job to Sheen. On top of that, Sheen's ship had also destroyed Dorkus's house, and he mocked Dorkus's name on multiple occasions. These factors caused Dorkus to swear vengeance on Sheen, bringing him to the villainous state he is in now. Dorkus's sheer hatred of Sheen drives him to spend his days concocting sinister schemes to try to destroy Sheen so he can take back his job as the Supreme Royal Adviser, but they all fail thanks to Sheen's dumb luck.

Trivia

• Dorkus's last name was first revealed to be Aurelius the episode "Trial by Jerry".
• Considering Dorkus's reasons for turning to villainy, it is unknown whether he had the same personality prior to Sheen's arrival on Zeenu.
• His name is a reference to Marcus Aurelius and also a pun on the word "dork". He also looks like Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars.
• Since the characters in Planet Sheen are technically counterparts and have the same character to the ones from the original Jimmy Neutron series, Dorkus' is King Goobot's counterpart.
• Although it is noted that both Dorkus and Pinter are the main villains of this series, it is shown a lot that (even though on the main character side) the Emperor and Princess Oom are acting a lot more like evil villains than them.
  • It is also shown a lot that Dorkus isn't actually Sheen's arch-enemies as he doesn't really see that because all that he (and Pinter) are trying to do is get rid of him, basically wanting him gone. That is not as evil as putting Sheen on a "pedestal" as means of wanting to keep him on Zeenu and not letting him go home.
