The Doublers are monsters used by the Space Crime Organization Makuu and antagonists in Space Sheriff Gavan. They are created by fusing a BEM Kaiju with one of the Beast-Alien Doublemen. Unlike the BEM Kaiju, which were little more than simple-minded beasts, the Doublers possess both the power of a BEM Kaiju and the intelligence of a Doubleman.

History

The Doublers were created by the Makuu following the continued failures of the BEM Kaiju to defeat Gavan. The first Doubler was created by fusing the BEM Kaiju Sai Monster with a Beast-Alien Doubleman.

Years after the Makuu's defeat, the Rhino Doubler came to Earth pursued by the new Space Sheriff Gavan, Geki Jumonji. Not long after his arrival, he met with Enter and teamed up with the Vaglass to defeat both Gavan and the Go-Busters. After being killed by the Go-Busters and Gavan in Makuu Space, Rhino Doubler is revived as a data-based giant when his lifeless body is infected with the Hikizurikomu Metavirus. This infection also gave the Double Monster's Axial Distorter access to Subspace as he proceeds to open a portal over the city. Luckily, Rhino Doubler is destroyed by Great Go-Buster with Dol's help before the portal fully manifests.

The Lizard Doubler later took part in the scheme to revive Don Horror.
