Doubloon is the fighter of Nadakhan's crew of the Misfortune's Keep, the Sky Pirates. He serves as a supporting antagonist in both Season 6: Skybound of LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu and the canon graphic novel trilogy The Dark Island Trilogy.
He is the only Sky Pirate who knows how to use Spinjitzu. When Nadakhan was freed from the Teapot of Tyrahn, he freed him and Flintlocke, Dogshank, Monkey Wretch, and Clancee from the Sixteen Realms they were marooned across using the Realm Crystal.
After that, Nadakhan returned to Djinjago, but when he got there, it was collapsing due to the Cursed Realm having been destroyed. When they returned to Ninjago, Nadakhan vowed that Ninjago would pay for the Ninja's actions. Later, in the final episode, as the Ninja are forced to flee, Clancee, having a change of heart, tells them the location of the Tiger Widow venom. Nadakhan, enraged, demands to know why Clancee betrayed him, prompting the latter to confront him over his selfishness and confirming his planned mutiny. Nadakhan rages he was always grateful for his crew's loyalty and devotion, although after confirming his real intent, hr proceeds to banish Clancee, Doubloon, and Monkey Wretch to separate realms. Later, when Jay wished that the Teapot of Tyrahn would never be found, time returns back to the day when Clouse, who escaped from the Cursed Realm, found it.When the citizens of Stiix found him, they began to chase him, and so Clouse could not release the Nadakhan, and the Sky Pirates were trapped in their separate realms again.
