Doug was a supporting antagonist in Family Guy. He was Stewie Griffin's pre-school classmate and archnemesis before he was killed off the show,
He was voiced by Chris Parnell, who also voiced Slade Wilson in My Adventures with Superman and Jerry Smith in Rick and Morty.
Personality[]
Like Stewie Griffin, Doug was a highly intelligent baby who spoke like an adult, but he was also smug, condescending and insufferable; also like Stewie, he was arrogant, manipulative, and completely ruthless, only worse. Although friendly with each other at first, he and Stewie had a fierce rivalry, with each being obsessed with outdoing and humiliating the other.
Appearances[]
"Island Adventure"[]
In his first appearance, he and Stewie are friendly towards each other as he passes by the Griffin home on his big wheel following a rain storm. He trades witty remarks with Stewie over breaking his record for a streak of wet tire tracks.
"The Candidate"[]
In his final appearance, Doug is running against Stewie for Snack Captain, since his opponent Noah got foot-in-mouth disease. He manages to become more popular than Stewie during the election, causing Chris to betray Stewie in favor of Doug and later tell him that Stewie was a mistake to make sure that Stewie doesn’t have a chance to turn the election in his favor. Doug then shares what Chris told him to the class as part of a smear campaign against Stewie. Feeling bad upon Stewie taking it so personally, but not bad enough to confess fault, Chris gives Stewie a tape that shows he was only half a mistake: it's revealed on the night that Stewie was concieved, Lois, who was ovulating raped Peter to get pregnant, which was also how Meg and Chris were conceived. At the end of the episode, Stewie wins the title of Snack Captain, both for the scandal making him more relatable (70% of the other kids' parents are unmarried and the other 30% are mistakes, with one boy who sleeps in one of the cubbies having just appeared without having parents) and Doug dying offscreen in a commuter plane crash that morning.
