Doug Kendall is the main antagonist of the FOX series, 9-1-1 episode, "Fight or Flight".
Background
Doug is the physically abusive husband of Maddie Buckley. Maddie wanted a divorce, so she moved to her brother Evan's house and wanted to start anew, without him knowing her whereabouts. Doug ended up tracking her down and things have taken a downward turn for Maddie, as well as her love interest, Chimney. One night, Doug repeatedly stabbed Chimney in the chest and abducted Maddie.
During a drive, they stopped at a gas station where she tried to run from Doug, but he runs outside and catches her. The cashier pointed a pistol at Doug, but he managed to grab the gun and shoot the cashier, killing him. Much to Maddie's horror.
They go to a cabin in the woods as their hide-out. Maddie finally stands up to Doug and trys to run away from him again and Doug trys to catch up to her while wielding the gun. They fight in the middle of the woods and Maddie takes out a knife and stabs Doug in the chest, killing him. Both Maddie and Chimney survived their wounds.
