Officer Doug Mulaney is a minor antagonist in the 2022 Blumhouse horror film Halloween Ends, the third and final installment of the 2018 timeline of John Carpenter's Halloween franchise.
He was portrayed by actor Jesse C. Boyd, who played Edward in The Walking Dead TV series.

Doug Mulaney was born in either the late 1980s or 1990s, he was born to Darlene Mulaney and Conrad Mulaney, the latter being Lonnie Elam's friend. He was most likely brought into a wealthy normal homelife, his father has 3 unnamed siblings, an older brother, and two younger sisters born in late 1940s or 1950s. He joined Haddonfield Sheriff’s Department where he worked alongside Deputy Frank Hawkins and Sheriff Barker. It can be presumed he was sort of good at his job. Sometime in between the events of Kills and Ends, he met Allyson Nelson, and started dating her sometime between late 2018 and early 2022 before eventually Allyson broke up with him. However, Doug would not let go of her and would have pursuits to talk to her.
"Halloween Ends"[]
He is first seen on October 27th pulling Allyson over on an overpass bridge, jokingly telling her that he misses her and asks if she misses him. He tells her that the real reason he pulled her over was because her car muffler looks like it is going to fall off. He tells her she should get it fixed before she has a bigger problem on her hands. Doug isn’t seen again until the 29th where he's celebrating his friend Joe Grillo’s birthday as he drunkenly goes over to Allyson and Corey inviting them over for a slice of cake to which Allyson kindly declines. He asks her again only for Corey to tell him that they are good. After recognizing Corey, he decides to harass Allyson by saying “so you call Mr. Aggravated Manslaughter at night when you can’t sleep”. He harasses her even more by saying “When you see the Boogeyman in your nightmares” Corey stands up and faces off against Doug who goes back to his friend as he tells him he’s got this declining them able to beat Corey up. He eventually stalks Corey and Allyson to Allyson and Laurie’s house. After seeing Corey ride away, he follows him through the town eventually following him under the overpass where he finds Corey’s motorbike unattended by the concrete pillars. Doug pulls out a flashlight and looks around the place finding a tent with shadow lit by a dim light. He lifts the tent zipper to find Nelson Christopher dead body. Before he can do anything Corey wraps his brown leather jacket around Doug’s head. After punching Corey off of him and following him into the storm sewer outflow pipe, Doug makes his way into the dark sewer tunnel cave tormenting and antagonizing Corey as he finds a stone carving of Michael’s mask not noticing the weakened Shape in the shadows. He looks around and shines his light onto Corey before getting slammed into a wall by Michael who is kicked away by Doug only for Corey to strike Doug head with the flashlight. In last one effort he grabs Corey before Corey strikes him again holding Doug by his throat and slicing it with the rusty chef’s knife before stabbing him five times finishing him off giving Michael the strength he needs.

- If Doug was born around either 1980 or 1990, he would be either 39 or 45 years old in 2022. If he did meet Allyson in 2018 when she was still 17, it would most likely make him a pedophile as he would be 41 in 2018.
- Doug is related to three children seen in Halloween Kills, (although the three children would be adults by the time the events of Ends took place), bullying Lonnie Elam as tell Lonnie to not "Fuck with the Mulaneys!" something that Doug also repeats.
