His plans would lead to him going toe-to-toe with Captain Battle and his sidekick Nathan Hale.

Biography[]

Dr. Dracula is a Nazi who would lead a band of bat-themed criminals under the Axis Powers, being sent to spy on a scientist, Professor Fosdick, who was working on a death ray capable of stripping human flesh leaving only skeletal remains. When Fosdick completed the weapon, Dr. Dracula reveals himself and steals his blueprints for the ray. He kidnaps him where he would place him in chains in his own lab, so he can use the ray on him as a test run. He kills the professor and brags how he'll give the plans for the Nazis may rule the world while he be generously promoted as the governor of America. As his men were transporting the ray, he was attacked by Captain Battle and Nathan Hale who saw his activities via their Curvoscope and came to stop him. They battled for the ray, Dr. Dracula attempts to use the ray on him, but Battle dodges the blast. Dracula's cronies escape to their plane so they can bring the plans to Germany, where Battle and Nathan catch them.

His minions try to shoot them down from the sky but failed and the plans were taken back by the two heroes. Meanwhile, Dracula from his own lair, a small island in the middle of a lake, learns the weapon can shoot from long ranges and attempts to cripple the United States through a series of sabotages: he has the ray kill every worker within a tank factory, and derails a heavily armed munition train causing a big explosion and killing its passengers. Captain Battle and his sidekick watches with sickened eyes from the mass murders and go out to stop him by flying to his base. Dr. Dracula proceeds with his series of mass destruction by targeting the first of many army training camps in an attempted to destroy it, slaughtering its troops from rows of tents while he gives a sadistic remark.

He is then punched by Battle who tries to fight off his minions, but Dracula throws a net at him and have his men subdue him. He threatens Battle to call the army camp and inform Hale that everything is under control and come to him alone, so they can trap the boy too, less he vaporizes him too. Captain Battle calls the camp and tells Hale that everything is okay, letting Nathan to arrive to meet him. Nathan arrives to battle the minions but is captured and Dracula attempts to shoot him in front of Battle just to hurt him. Battle pretends to be in despair at the thought of his adopted son about to be killed, but it's actually a ploy to catch them off-guard and frees himself from the net. He beats up the minions with the aid of Hale, prompting Dr. Dracula to kill them both with the Death Ray. But Battle uses the steel net on him causing the ray to short-circuit, causing it to explode likely having killed him. His men have been arrested while Nathan collects their metallic wings as a souvenir.
