Dr. Filaniest is the main antagonist of the episode Blanky Hanky Panky, from the children cartoon series, Johnny Bravo.
Filaniest is a villain obsessed with stealing all the yarns in Aron City with the help of his cat sidekick, Pookey.
He was voiced by Jeffery Tambor.
Appearance[]
Filaniest appeared average height with brown hair and appeared balding and long nose. He wears an orange cat costume.
Personality[]
Filaniest is obsessed with stealing all the yarns from Aron City. Also, with his cat-like trait. He does enjoy drinking milk like a cat.
Apparently, he appeared not to be bright when Pookey asked about his world domination plan and how a bunch of yarns would help him rule the world.
Synopsis[]
He stole all the yarns in Aron City and used them to make a giant yarn ball on top of a mountain. As the result of the theft, all the citizens are struggling to find clothes to deal with winter, and Mama Bravo formed an angry mob to find him.
Filaniest and Pookey arrived at Johnny's house to steal his blanket, the only yarn left in Aron City. He uses Pookey to distract Johnny, while he secretly steals the blanket. After they successfully stole the blanket, they headed back to the giant yarn, where Johnny followed them. When Johnny arrives inside the giant yarn and demands his blanket back, Filaniest uses his cat hairball launcher to try to hit him. As Johnny ran away from the hairball launcher, Filaniest saw Johnny nearly falling with the latter holding a rope from a giant yarn. Johnny asked for his blanket back because it held a sentimental value and the blanket was handmade by his mother. While Dr. Filaniest refused, Pookey was so touched by Johnny's speech that he turned against his master and made him fall off the mountain with Johnny being able to retrieve his blanket.
After the giant yarn fell from the mountain and crash landed on Filaniest back into several sweaters and clothes, he woke up and developed a conscious that he realized that his actions were wrong just before Mama and the angry mob arrived to take him and cover him in tar and feather before being bought to the city hall, so they can also take the credit for stopping the Yarn Thief.
