Doctor Finkle is the main antagonist of Four Favorites' issue 2 of the Magno & Davey comic series. He is a German spy sent to steal securities of foreign countries and give it to his homeland. He uses the might of a tribe of abnormally fast Native Americans capable of not just dodging bullets but also consume human flesh.
Biography[]
Finkle and Matsui would come into contact with the mysterious Native tribe when he and his men were strolling across the west to establish an airfield for his countrymen. It wasn't until they were attacked by the Native "monsters". He and his men tried to use their guns against them, but the Natives had this superhuman ability to see things in slow motion and were able to dodge the bullets. Out of fear, Finkle accidentally shot one of his men dead, and saw that the Natives began devouring his corpse, Finkle decided to kill another one of his own men to test this. He realized these Natives can be bargained with, so he promised them a "fresh supply of white meat", and revenge on the white man as long as they serve him as his slaves.
He and Matsui would stay in a home within the US, plotting to steal the securities of captured countries for Finkle to give to his German superiors. Unbeknownst to him and his collaborator, he is being spied by two secret service agents, Betty and Jim, seeking to arrest him and Matsui. They were also being watched by Magno and Davey who knew something fishy was going on too. Jim tries to get into the house, only to be lured into a trapped and strangled to death by one of the Natives. He then lures Betty to the same trap and tried to have her killed the same way, but Matsui objects to this for thinking doing so would be bad luck and saw it as unnecessary. Believing Matsui to be a coward, he has him strangled to death by one of his minions and proceeds to try and kill Betty. Magno and Davey fortunately arrived to stop them, letting Betty go free. Angered by this, he deems all his minions to be cowards and threatens to starve them to death should they fail him again.
He then sends them to rob the banks and treasury to get the securities, and orders them to kill anyone who gets in their way. The Natives would go on to wreak havoc from the city, killing many innocent people such as security guards to police officers, claiming lives on the street. The Native cannibals would be attacked by Davey and Magno who tried to stop their robbing sprees, only for Davey to be captured and sent to Finkle's hideout. Finkle explains to Davey how he met these "monsters" of his, and plans to have Davey be eaten alive, torn limb from limb, from his minions whom he kept starving since morning. Magno and Betty came in to rescue Davey, beating up all of Finkle's minions, forcing Finkle to pull out a gun and try to kill them all. Betty took out her own gun and shoots him dead, allowing the cannibals to take his corpse and follow Betty, who has now followed Betty as the new leader as per their own tradition.
