Dr. Frakes is a supporting antagonist in the Disney Channel animated series Amphibia. She is a genius, yet immoral scientist who works on interdimensional technology.

Biography[]
At an unknown point, Dr. Frakes founded the Brainasium and began working on her projects there with her assistant, Terri. One day, as the two of them were working, the energy from the Calamity Box teleporting Anne, Sasha and Marcy to Amphibia interfered with her technology and caused a portal to open, nearly pulling them in as well. Since then, Frakes became obsessed with portals and built a machine that could take pictures of other dimensions.
A few months later, Anne and the Plantars went to visit her, having heard about her knowledge of portals to other dimensions. Frakes and Terri took them into their laboratory and showed them the machine. Unfortunately, an energy surge from it caused the Plantars' identities as frog people to be exposed.
Seeing this as an opportunity to become famous, Frakes kidnapped the Plantars and planned to reveal them to the world after dissecting them. She took them to another room and prepared to cut through their bodies, but Anne and Terri worked together to rescue them.
Enraged, Frakes chased after them with a buzzsaw, intending to use it against her and capture the Plantars again, but Anne defeated her by throwing a bag of cookies on her, causing the children at the museum, who were desperate for snacks, to attack and overpower her.
