Dr. Kamikazi is the main antagonist of Robotboy. He is a self-proclaimed doctor and evil genius, who wishes to capture Robotboy to create a template for an army of super robots, with which he will be able to achieve his dastardly goal of world domination. He also is the archenemy of Tommy Turnbull and Professor Moshimo as well as the villainous archenemy of General Yakitori. He tends to be seen with exotic animals as his pets, but they often end up harming him one way or another.
He was voiced by the late Eiji Kusuhara.
Appearance[]
Kamikazi is a small, short old man with thick glasses and gray eyebrows. He wears a dark red suit/bathrobe combo with a black bow tie. Kamikazi is mostly bald, but has a small amount of black hair on the back of his head.
Biography[]
Not too much about his past is known, but it is known he grew up with Mother Kamikazi, had little toys as a child and was evil from a young age. In "Kamispazi", he states "my mother was a hard woman, who showed me no warmth, and yet I remain obsessed with her!", which implies she may have been abusive toward him. In "Momma's Boy", she is shown to be strict with him and doesn't let him fight Robotboy for not wanting him to engage in such behavior.
When he was young, he used to bully one of Moshimo's yaks, Brian, at Moshimo's yak ranch in Mexico for his stupidity. Some years later, he would adopt Constantine from an orphanage and have him be his henchman. Later he and Constantine stole Protoboy from Moshimo. Kamikazi tried to reprogram him so he could use him to rule the world, but he ended up being turned too evil for him to control, leading to him running amok until Constantine defeated him. He was also a tetherball prodigy until he suffered an elbow injury.
In the present day, he seeks to steal Robotboy so he can use him to take over the world.
Personality[]
Kamikazi craves power and dreams of world domination. This is his motive for trying to capture Robotboy, so that he can use Robotboy one way or another to achieve his goal of world domination. He is typically very arrogant and doesn't tend to listen to others' better advice, usually Constantine's, this tends to frustrate him as he sees himself above others.
Acts[]
- In "Dog Ra", Dr. Kamikazi sends a robotic dog to go after Robotboy. He tries to separate Robotboy and Tommy.
- In "War and Pieces", Dr. Kamikazi spies on Tommy and his friends. He sends his yeti army to Professor Moshimo's laboratory to capture Robotboy and takeover the laboratory. He tries to kidnap Tommy but fails.
- In "Bowling For Dummies", he forms a bowling team and tries to win a game in order to get Robotboy. He sends two bacteria creatures named Drip and Ooze to capture Robotboy but Robotboy defeats them and curls him and Klaus Von Affenkugel into a ball and rolls them into the bowling lane.
- In "Teasebots", Dr. Kamikazi tries to taunt Robotboy to his advantage by sending "Teasebots" to tease him. He captures Robotboy but fails. Dr. Kamikazi then tries to destroy his own Teasebot (because it insulted him) with a giant white mutated rat.
- In "Constantine Rising", he sends Constantine to capture Robotboy but captures Lola instead. Dr. Kamikazi took credit for capturing Robotboy. But when Constantine reveals how he captures him (by capturing Lola to lure them), he yells at him. He sends an army of bats to capture Robotboy but fails.
- In "Metal Monster", he let the government capture Robotboy, so he can then take him for himself.
- In "Brother", it's established he was the one who reprogrammed Protoboy into being evil, but he accidentally made him too evil for him to control.

He then tries to destroy Robotboy, but when Tommy, Moshimo and Gus arrive, he tries to have Robotboy destroy them instead.
- In "Momma's Boy" Kamikazi creates two super soldiers from his mother's pet wiener dogs and uses them in another attempt to capture Robotboy.

Trivia[]
- His name is often misspelt online as "Kamikaze".
- He is similar to Sam Hoover from Dude, That's My Ghost, another cartoon created by Jan Van Rijsselberge, as both are small people who desire to capture the blue non-human main character of the series. A difference being that Sam isn't the main antagonist unlike Dr. Kamikazi.
- He had a song based after him called "Dr. Kamikazi: He's Rich Like Abramovich" that used to be on the Cartoon Network UK site. While the actual music video is lost, the song itself can still be found online.
- Despite his name, it is stated that he isn't a real doctor in specific promotional material and by his mother.
- He appeared in almost every episode of the first half of the series, but appears considerably less in the latter-half. This was likely to give more screentime to the other villains of the show.
- He is nicknamed "Kamicrazy" by General Yakitori. Similarly, in "Robolympics", he calls Yakitori "Stinkatori".
