Dr. Kuseno is a major antagonist in One-Punch Man. Initially passing himself off as a simple scientist helping Genos vanquish the Mad Cyborg, he is later revealed to be the one responsible for The Organization.
Appearance[]
Dr Kuseno is an old man with grey eyes and eye brows. He has grey hairs being cut into an unusual bowl shape making his head look like a mushroom and has a long nose.
Personality[]
He consider Genos as his grandson and acts like a father to him, and is worried about Genos’s wish about him wanting to take revenge on the “Mad Cyborg” that killed his family. He is a very unselfish man, who cares more about Genos than himself, he would spent his time at night upgrading Genos’s body and weapons as long it means to help mankind, instead of sleeping at night.
When he was younger, he had a lot of sense of justice, as he would do anything to make Humanity better, if it mean to careless things.
In truth, Dr. Kuseno is a madman who desires nothing more than world domination, ruthlessly using Genos as a pawn by implanting fake memories into him to incite a desire for revenge, and going as far as to stage his own death to fuel the flames of Genos's wrath.
Trivia[]
- "Kuse" can translates to "bad habit" or can also be the pun for the word "kusai" (臭い) , meaning stinky. This etymology may be a hint of Kuseno's true nature.
