Dr. Lee is an elite member of the Gorgonzola Goblins and a major antagonist in Pocky & Rocky. He serves as the boss of stage 5, the penultimate stage of the game.
In the English version of the game, he is not given a name and is known only as the Gorgonzola Vampire.
Biography[]
Dr. Lee ran a laboratory inside of Gorgonzola Fortress, where he held captive and experimented on the Nopino Goblins who had been taken prisoner by the Gorgonzola Goblins.
When Pocky and Rocky reached the end of the prison block of the Gorgonzola Fortress, Dr. Lee flew into the stage in his bat form before transforming and appearing before Pocky and Rocky. Dr. Lee declared to them that Black Mantle had given him permission to use them for his experiments if he succeeded in catching them and then began attacking them. He was defeated by Pocky and Rocky, at which point he assumed his bat form and tried to fly away, only to disappear in a poof. With Dr. Lee's death, Pocky and Rocky were able to free all the Nopino Goblins taken prisoner by him.
Trivia[]
- His name is a reference to Christopher Lee, who played Count Dracula in the Hammer horror films.
- Him being a scientist who wears a Dracula-esque cape is likely a reference to Dr. Shinigami, a famous villain from the Japanese superhero series Kamen Rider.
