Dr. Lucifer is a one-shot antagonist in the original G.I. Joe series. He is a scientist working for COBRA and serves as the main antagonist of the episode "Cobra's Creatures".
History[]
Dr. Lucifer was a scientist hired by COBRA. He invented a device, which he called Hi-Freq, that brainwashes animals into obeying Cobra's orders through high-frequency sound waves. He made a bargain with COBRA to provide them with the Hi-Freq in exchange for COBRA breaking Professor Attila, whom Lucifer had a romantic but rather dysfunctional relationship with, out of prison. As a demonstration of the device's effectiveness, Dr. Lucifer first used it on Mutt's dog Junkyard, turning him against Mutt. Soon, COBRA brought all the animals in the world under their control with the Hi-Freq. In an attempt to stop COBRA's plans, the Joes sent Scarlett to infiltrate the COBRA base under the guise of Professor Attila. However, Dr. Lucifer saw through the deception, and had her taken captive alongside Ripcord. Lucifer then attempted to kill the two Joes with spiders, but Snake Eyes and Spirit rescued them. The Joes then destroyed the Hi-Freq and captured Dr. Lucifer. In the end, Lucifer was imprisoned alongside Professor Attila.
