Yooka-Laylee[]
Dr. Quack's main role in the game is being around Capital B and occasionally giving quizzes to the players. He is seen first at the beginning, trying to make himself apart of Capital B's statue as the get everything in order, and again when Capital B gets a call on a television (by having Dr. Quack put it on his head).
After Capital B is defeated it was revealed that Dr. Quack is actually a supervisor sent by the V.I.L.E. organization to monitor Capital B, and that Capital B is little more than a subordinate of V.I.L.E., the real owners of Hivory Towers. Before more answers regarding V.I.L.E. could be obtained, Blasto accidentally shot a cannon ball that sent Capital B and Dr. Quack to a Grand Tome that was then closed and possibly killing both to a large pile of Grand Tomes.
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair[]
In the sequel, Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, it was revealed that the Grand Tome that Capital B and Dr. Quack were trapped in was the Royal Stingdom, a bee themed kingdom. Strangely, Dr. Quack was did not appear in the game despite being in the Royal Stingdom as well, however the V.I.L.E. organization was mentioned by Queen Phoebee.
