Dr. Reflex is a major antagonist in Baldi's Basics Plus.
Like the rest of the original cast, he is voiced by the game's creator, Micah "Mystman12" McGonigal.

Personality[]
Dr. Reflex is eager to do his job as he will run toward the Protagonist when he see him in order to initiate a reflex test. He gets upset when the Protagonist messes up the test, but is quite encouraging to him and wants him to try again. When his reflex test is interrupted for any reason, he will turn aggressive and attempt to hunt the Protagonist down with a percussion hammer.

Like Baldi, before he's added to Baldi's Basics Plus, Dr. Reflex first appeared in one of the comics of mystman12's old comic strip series Baldimore, where he reflex tested Baldi's knee, resulting in him getting an unintentional kick to the groin by the latter.
Role[]
Dr. Reflex is the school doctor of Here School (more precisely the Super Schoolhouse). Dr. Reflex first appears on the second floor and he will walk around the surrounding hall area. When he meets the Protagonist, he will chase after him and then start a full-on reflex test.
In Dr. Reflex's reflex test, the Protagonist will automatically switch to Dr. Reflex and he will wait a few seconds; then open his hands; one hand contains a circle and the other contains an "X". In order to pass his reflex test and continue, the Protagonist must click the correct hand (the one with the circle) fast enough, hence the catchphrase he shouts before starting. When the Protagonist clicks the correct hand without fail, he will earn 25 You Thought Points. However, Dr. Reflex will be displeased with the Protagonist if he is too slow or clicks the wrong hand (the one with the "X"), starting the challenge from the beginning until the Protagonist wins.
If the Protagonist walks away during his test, or is even interrupted by certain characters or items, he will get angry, wait two seconds, and go to his clinic to grab a giant percussion hammer and start hunting the Protagonist. He will use it to squish any character (except Chalkles) that comes into contact with it. The effect will last for 30 seconds. Like Baldi, Dr. Reflex is able to hear any and all sounds that would normally alert Baldi, and also, using a cassette player or payphone will deafen him for 30 seconds. However, unlike Baldi, there is no head indicator that shows whether or not Dr. Reflex hears sounds.
While squished, character interactions will be limited. For example, the Protagonist will not be able to interact with certain objects (such as buttons, notebooks, and blue lockers) and other characters will not be able to interact with the Protagonist. When the Protagonist is squished, the camera will be pointed at Dr. Reflex, similar to when he was playing a reflex test. Unlike other characters who can see the Protagonist from all angles, Dr. Reflex will only be able to see the Protagonist as long as he is in front of him or in his peripheral vision.

- He seems to be inspired by Wallace from the British Claymation series Wallace and Gromit.
