Dr. Sánchez (real name José Francisco Morales Rivera de la Cruz) is a major antagonist of the 2023 DC Extended Universe film Blue Beetle, based on the DC Comics superhero of the same name.
He is an employee of Kord Industries, working under the orders of Victoria Kord. When Jaime Reyes uses the scarab to become the superhero Blue Beetle, Sánchez is instructed by his superior to retrieve the scarab in hopes of using it for terrorist purposes.
He was portrayed by Harvey Guillén, who also plays Guillermo de la Cruz in What We Do in the Shadows.

- Harvey Guillén accepted the role of Dr. Sánchez due to feeling personally identified with the screenplay for Blue Beetle due to the main characters being part of the Latino community like Guillén is in real life.
