Scalder would later interrupt Hemlock’s torture of the former Clone Trooper Crosshair to inform him that one their transports were attacked while departing Balmora, Hemlock would then leave Dr. Emerie Karr to supervise Crosshair’s interrogation while Hemlock spoke with Scalder. Dr. Scalder was present when Dr. Hemlock captured as leverage to force Nala Se to cooperate with him. She led Omega into a laboratory and told her to wait for Dr. Karr.
Scalder was eventually tasked with overseeing the specimens in the Tantiss Vault. Following Nala Se’s detainment, Dr. Karr was promoted to Chief Scientist and partnered with Scalder to guard the children. Omega would later be imprisoned in the vault after she was recaptured by CX-2. Scalder would later object to letting Omega mingle with the other children, but Karr insists that the children are engaging in activities to help keep their minds active and reassures her colleague that the children are under constant supervision.
During Clone Force 99’s attack on Tantiss, Dr. Karr left Scalder to safeguarding the children in her absence. Scalder would later take the children’s blood samples. One of the children, Sami, claims she is hungry but Scalder coldly says it will pass. Unaware, that Sami was stalling her while Omega was sneaking around in the dumbwaiter system. Eva then tells Doctor Scalder she doesn't feel very good, so Scalder orders the medical droid to scan her. Omega heads back to her cell as Scalder and the droid assess Eva to be fine. As Scalder approaches Omega's cell, Jax offers to go next but the doctor tells him to wait his turn. Omega returned to her cell just in time for her blood test.
Scalder later notices that the medical droid inside the Tantiss Vault was missing, so she goes down to investigate. Omega, Jax and Eva reappear with the medical droid and Eva claims they were with the droid. The doctor is suspicious about the unscheduled scan and demands to know what they were doing. When Omega backs up Eva, Scalder chides Dr. Karr for being too kind with the children and orders them to return to their alcoves, intending to place them in solitary confinement as punishment. However, she is knocked unconscious by the reprogrammed medical droid with a sedative. Scalder would later be awoken by Dr. Hemlock, who threatens to punish her for her failure. It’s unknown what happened to Scalder after that since Hemlock was killed and Tantiss was destroyed before he had a chance to punish her.
