Dr. Troy is the main antagonist of the non-canon game Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight who was seemingly a friend to Ken Masters.
Appearance[]
Dr. Troy is a blonde man with receding hair and dons a white Lab coat and dark clothes underneath. In his first mutation, he becomes a spiked alien with with a long neck and claws. In his second mutation, he becomes a purple humanoid covered in dozens of red spheres.
Personality[]
Although seemingly a good friend of Ken, Troy is in reality power hungry madman who finds pleasure in causing pain in his victims and started by infecting Ken, showing that he never cared for him. All Troy desired was controlling the entire galaxy through the substance.
Biography[]
When Ken was growing up in a violent world and became the greatest Street Fighter when he won the circuit of the same name, he enrolled as a Bargham University student and became close colleagues with the gifted Troy. By the year 2010, Ken and Troy discovered the substance called Cyboplasm which can strengthen men beyond their natural limits.
While mankind began travel between worlds, Ken was disinterested in it but was happy to know how helpful the Cyboplasm can be. However, Ken traveled to the lab and found that the formula was stolen and Troy was found seemingly dead as a pile of jelly. Ken now seeks to travel the "frontier" and find his friend's killer. In reality, Troy faked his death and stole the Cyboplasm for himself, erasing Ken's memory after infecting him with the substance.
Troy then proceeded to travel multiple worlds and infest them with the Cyboplasm to painfully mutate an untold number of victims into mindless beasts. As Ken travels the galaxy to stop this chaos, Troy asks why his friend pursues him with Ken telling him that he killed his "best friend". Troy later asks him that he should go home and not get hurt, but Ken persists in doing so after he brought him to justice. Troy then tells him to go to Planet Sanddune and get the Flipshield Capsule. However, Ken starts to feel pain as he gets closer to Troy who offers to heal his injuries if he joins.
When Ken discovers Troy to be not only alive, but also a traitor, the treacherous Troy revealed he never cared for Ken's ideals and only desired to conquer the galaxy. He offered Ken to join, but Ken refuted out of anger which led to Troy mutating himself once to fight Ken, then made another attempt on his life by mutating further. But Ken manages to overpower and kill him.
However, the Cyboplasm still evolved from an infestation into a plague that spread across the earth, showing that killing Troy did not stop its threat.
