Dr. Charlie Von Kook is the overarching antagonist of the musical drama comedy album Evelyn Evelyn, created by Amanda Palmer and Jason Webley, as well as the official graphic novel adaptation, serving as the main antagonist of The Tragic Events of September, Part 1.
He is described as “ A local denture maker of dubious training with eccentric religious beliefs.” who delivered the Evelyn Twins in 1985, and is responsible for the events of the story through his actions.
Personality[]
Dr. Von Kook is described as a dubious medical advocate with religious beliefs and from what we see of him, he’s shown to be that. Von Kook is a crazed religious man, spouting off Bible verses as he deems the Evelyn Twins a sin against god, and we see that Von Kook has zero care or empathy to his crimes, prepared to use a chainsaw against the twins right as they were born.
Biography[]
Doctor Charlie Von Kook is a religious denture maker and a presiding physician at a poorly funded hospital made from a converted airstream trailer in the border of Kansas and Colorado. Dr. Von Kook is the one to deliver The Evelyn Twins on September of 1985, a delivery that ends with the death of their mother, Louisa Deville.
When taking one look at the conjoined status of the twins, Dr. Von Kook becomes disgusted and places the newborns on the table, before he leaves the trailer. He comes back with a chainsaw and, muttering biblical quotes of doubtful accuracy, attempts to use the chainsaw to cut the newborn kids in two. However, Sheriff Wilbur Owens Bursts through the door when seeing the Deville station wagon and, seeing Dr. Von Kook with the chainsaw about to preform the deadly operation, shoots him in the heart, killing him instantly. Unfortunately, the chainsaw flies and strikes the dismayed father of the twins, Samuel Deville, killing him instantly as well and leaving the twins orphaned.

- It’s been theorize that Dr. Von Kook is a member of F.A.S.T.E.N ( Foundation for Always Separating Siamese Twins Everywhere Now) due to his disgust of the conjoined sisters and his crazed religious extremism.
