Dr. Warpnik is a minor antagonist from the 1993 cartoon Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, based on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. He serves as the main antagonist of the episode Trail of the Missing Tails.
He is the infamous deranged cousin of Dr. Robotnik who was exiled to the Warp of Confusion due to his dangerous, looney behavior. Like his cousin, Warpnik is also an inventor, though many of his inventions tend to defy many known laws of reality.
He was voiced by French Tickner, who also voiced several other characters in The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog.
Personality[]
He is very crazed, insane, freakish and unsettling. As well as being very obsessed with fish.
He acts extremely weird and off-putting to the point that he even freaks out Robotnik, who banished him to the Warp of Confusion in disgust. He is prone to tons of excessive rambling, has a downright creepy obsession with fish, bursts into fits of maniacal laughter, and generally acts in an overly strange way.
Speaking of his obsession with fish, he either treats them like love objects to make out with; which has some really disturbing sexual undertones (which is basically zoophilia and bestiality since he is human), he'd use them as a form of transportation, or he uses them as the go-to method of attacks by smacking people with live fish (which means he physically abuses them too). He even placed one inside his ear after he told Sonic to be quiet. When the fish appears back on his glove after Sonic's reaction was played over Warpnik making an expression, it's slightly hinted that it came out of his mouth.

Appearance[]
Warpnik is a reddish pink-skinned, tall, spindly, muscular human, as well as having a labcoat, a comma-shaped head similar to his cousin's conical-shaped head, nerdy glasses, and a floating, shapeshifting yellow wig.
Trivia[]
- His name is a play on the two words; warping and Robotnik (or even a badnik).
- He is a bit similar to Patrick Star from SpongeBob Squarepants, as the two have pink skin in line with pointy conical heads, have very silly personalities, and an addition of being permanently banished away from their family members (Warpnik by his cousin Robotnik, while Patrick by his parents).
- His reddish face along with his floating, shapeshifting wig makes him seem like a Dr-Suess inspired type of alien instead of a human.
- His expressive hair (or possibly a wig) that floats above his head, frequently shifts into shapes to emphasize his moods or thoughts.
- This character has been criticised for treating his fish like love objects to make out with and which some has very sexual undertones (which is basically Zoophilia since he is human), also since he uses them as a form of transportation, or he uses them as the go-to method of attacks by smacking people with live fish, which means he physically abuses them too, resulting in Warpnik being an animal abuser as well.
