Dracula is the main antagonist of the Love, Death & Robots episode "Sucker of Souls".

He was voiced by Fred Tatasciore, who also voiced Cthulhu and the Thanapod in the same series, as well as Jubair al Hakim in the Assassin's Creed series, Kakuzu in Naruto, Malthus in Annabelle and Annabelle: Creation, and Zeus in the God of War series.

Appearance[]

In his humanoid form, Dracula appears as a gray-skinned male with fanged teeth, sharp claws on his fingers and toes, long black hair and facial hair, and black eyes with red pupils. In his monster form, he takes the form of a large quadrupled beast with massive fangs and glowing red eyes.

Biography[]

According to Dr. Wehunt, Dracula is an ancient vampire who could defeat whole armies and feast from their entrails. All who opposed him were impaled on sharp poles. He was sealed away within his castle by humans releasing thousands of cats, as eating them would make his flesh burn.

Centuries later, a team of mercenaries assist Dr. Wehunt in finding artifacts during an archaeological dig of the castle. Upon discovering ancient text, Wehunt's assistant Simon translates it as a warning for the "Sucker of Souls". Head mercenary Flynn believes it to be a joke, but they are proven wrong when a mysterious male humanoid suddenly emerges from the tunnel. He grabs Simon and mauls into the side of his neck before using his claw to slice him in half.

From the blood he drank from Simon, the man takes a much larger monstrous form into that of a giant beast. He then turns attention towards Flynn and Wehunt and begins chasing them. With the beast being larger and stronger, he quickly catches up to them. Wehunt identifies their provoker as Dracula, shocked they would find him alive. Flynn shoots at Dracula, one of the bullets going straight through him, but he quickly regenerates from his wounds.

Dracula grabs Flynn, who grabs a knife only for the blade to break upon slashing his face. Dracula taunts Flynn through Romanian, which Wehunt translates as Dracula calling Flynn a warrior and how he looks forward to eating his still-beating heart. Before he could eat him, a cat shows up. Dracula drops Flynn and runs off, enabling Flynn and Wehunt to meet up with Micky and Gary and take refuge in a storage room.

As they discuss a plan how to escape from the castle, Dracula returns and tries to break down the door, as the cats were too busy getting intimate on top of the roof pillars. They come up with a plan to use Gary's C4 to destroy Dracula. When Dracula backs away from the door to charge in, Flynn, Micky, and Gary all open fire on Dracula before shutting the door again. This distracted him to regenerate as they make their escape through a secret tunnel. Upon bursting open the door, Dracula finds the C4 and fails to realize in time before it explodes and kills him. As the mercenaries and Wehunt escape through a cave, they accidentally come across a nest of other vampires.
