The Darwin (達爾文) is a titular minor antagonist of the comic Brave Series (勇者系列) by Yellow Book. He is Blue Dragon and Red Dragon's elder brother, Dragon Killer Brave's brother-in-law and Dragon Brave uncle. He is the leader of the Evolution Kingdom (進化國). The kings of mankind have not dared to mess with him, and he is an "evil dragon".
Story[]
Darwin is a true, ancient black dragon who grew disillusioned with the state of the Dragons, which he felt had declined and lost its prestige in the world. He decided to leave the clan and embark on a new path, rejecting the old ways. He believes the Dragon Race must evolve by fully embracing the human form, which he views as a superior being compared to the pure dragon form. To put his philosophy into action, he conquered a large human city and established the Evolution Kingdom, where he rules over both his own race and humans. Due to his immense power and the threat his kingdom poses, he is classified as an S-Mission target and the primary antagonist of the Brave Kingdom.
Personality[]
- Proud and Condescending: He views the dragons as "pitiful" and "lowly", considering them only useful as a stepping stone for the dragon's evolution.
- Cunning and Strategic: He clearly has long-term plans for the Dragon Race's future, centered on the founding of his "Evolution Kingdom" and his philosophy of "complete humanization."
- Calm and Confident: He appears very composed in conversations, even when discussing serious matters, and is fully confident in his power and plans.
- Committed to his consel: Despite his menacing presence and goals, he shows a warm and committed side to his admirer, Desire Queen, telling his "consel" that he thanks she told the truth of the Dragons.
Appearance[]
Darwin's most prominent form is his black dragon form. His features include a black body, glowing lime-green eyes, and a terrifying mouth full of sharp, white teeth. A white, fluffy collar rings his neck, and unique exposed, glowing lime-green ribs line his throat. Dark blue/purple crests adorn his head. He is a massive, menacing figure often seen in dark, shadowy settings.
