Dragon King (ドラゴンキング Doragon Kingu) is a minor antagonist in the 1973 Tokosatsu series Zone Fighter, serving as the secondary antagonist of the episode “Zone Family’s Critical Moment and later appearing in a brief flashback in the episode “The Terror Beast Base: Invade the Earth!” He is a Terror-beast that was sent by the Garogas to destroy a dam and flood a city.

Zone Family’s Critical Moment![]
One day, the Garogas sent Dragon King to attack a dams in order to flood a city but was intervened by Zone Fighter who began colliding with the Terror beast head-on. However, Dragon King managed to take Zone Fighter by surprise and pushed him in between two hillsides before burying him in rubble and pinning him between them.
Having been pinned between two hillsides, Zone Fighter dug underneath himself and escaped his would-be tomb. Zone Fighter then ravaged Dragon King in hand-to-hand combat before tossing the monster into the same valley it had nearly entombed him in. The hero then proceeded to unload his Meteor Missile Might onto it, destroying the Terror beast for good.
The Terror Beast Base: Invade the Earth![]
Dragon King appears in a flashback alongside Spyler and Destro-King as the Garogas contemplate the many defeats they have suffered at the hands of Zone Fighter. He is shown battling Zone Fighter while surrounded by orange mist. The the fight eventually ends with Dragon-King getting pummeled by Zone Fighter.

- According to Toho Special Effects: All Kaiju Illustrated Encyclopedia, it was born on the Garogas home planet.
- While its subtitle is listed as being "Horned Terror-Beast", during its entrance in the show itself, it’s only listed as “Terror-Beast”
- During Dragon-King’s brief flashback appearance in the beginning of Episode 12, An exploding model is used though the design of his head and his other features are slightly different then the features on Dragon King's actual suit.
- In supplementary material, it mentions that one of Dragon King’s battle tactics is to run its enemies through with the horns covering its body.
