The Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella or Devastationer is a boss in the 2022 video game Elden Ring. It is depicted as a giant, ugly-looking draconic monster that is capable of wielding ice lightning unlike the Ancient Dragons of old, who wield red lightning.
Appearance[]
This Dragonkin Soldier bears an identical resemblance to its brethren but has wings on its back. It has a humanoid body with lanky limbs and chests with large gaping cavities. They wear less armor and capes with golden embroidery.
Biography[]
The Devastationer's race originated from the Eternal City, which is where they were born. Unlike the Ancient Dragons, however, the Dragonkin Soldiers, who are not immortal, proved to be nothing but decrepit imitations of the former and they never knew true sky nor lightning. As a result, they wield ice lightning as their main weapon. The Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella can be encountered at the lower part of Ainsei River in the eternal city of Nokstella, where it appears to guard a giant ancient throne, where a giant skeleton of unknown origin sat. In battle, aside from ice lightning, the Dragonkin Soldier also wields lightning spears and AoEs.
