Drake is the secondary antagonist in the 2013 film Escape Plan. Drake is the chief of security at the Tomb, and is a corrupt bodyguard who enjoys torturing the prisoners.

He was portrayed by Vinnie Jones, who also played Juggernaut in X-Men: The Last Stand, Rommel in Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties, Sebastian Moran in Elementary, and Danny Brickwell in Arrow.

Biography

Drake is the chief of security working at the Tomb, the world's most secure prison run by Warden Willard Hobbes, and is the warden's personal assistant and bodyguard. Drake is a sadistic enforcer who enjoys torturing the prison inmates, particular Ray Breslin and his partner, Emil Rottmayer. Drake is scrutinized by Hobbes for accidently killing one of the inmates, and discovers Breslin's true identity.

Drake informed Warden Hobbes who Breslin really was, a man who tests prisons to see if they are the best at keeping prisoners. Hobbes planed to keep Breslin in solitary confinement, and force him to live the rest of his life in the prison. Drake and Hobbes attempt to stop Breslin and Rottmayer from escaping from the Tomb through the film, but fail to stop them.

When the prisoners are escaping the Tomb, Drake begins his search for Breslin until he is attacked by him. During the fight, Drake attempts to kill Breslin by choking him or using his knife, but Breslin gets the upper hand. Breslin ends the fight by kicking Drake down a staircase, breaking his neck and killing him. Drake's corpse is later discovered by Hobbes during his pursuit of the inmates.
