In the Halloween DLC made by Fazbear Entertainment in the games and by SteelWool Studios in real life, Dreadbear is one of the new additions.
He appears in the opening hub, at the top of the "Curse of Dreadbear" line.
Dreadbear also appears in the game over screen, laughing at the player.
In Night 03, Dredbear is a threat. He makes his way from the stage to the office. The player has to flash the light on the cameras to slow him down. If he gets to the office, he instantly destroys the door and kills the player.
Dreadbear in the "Dreadbear" level, is revealed to have a brain inside him, and the player has to put it inside Dreadbear.
Dreadbear sometimes appears in the main hub, as an easter egg.
Dreadbear almost resembles Nightmare Freddy in appearance, but with flat teeth, feet almost similar to the toy animatronics, and shares some similarities with the classic horror movie icon Frankenstein's monster, such as the flat-topped angular head, some stitches, and bolts for jaw joints.
- Dreadbear's original name was Franken Freddy.
- There is a theory that Dreadbear is the Bite Victim from Five Nights at Freddy's 4. Dreadbear's level, where the player fixes his brain, could be a parallel between William Afton trying to fix his son's damaged head, after the incident revolving Fredbear.
