The Dream Geist, also known as Mechionette, is a secret boss in Security Breach: Fury's Rage, a spin-off of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise.
It is a strange, ghost-like being who appears in the secret final level of the game, where it fights the Glamrock animatronics alongside multiple Puppet minions. Defeating it unlocks the secret ending of the game.
Appearance
The Dream Geist is a ghostly figure with a grey snake-like body covered with multiple keyholes, with two long arms attached, its end tail slightly faded, and a face resembling that of The Puppet. A metal facemask with a black "X" covers their mouth, and its eyes take the form of an alarm clock. Its transparent head contains multiple props related to Five Nights at Freddy's 4, including a Toy Chica action figure, a grandfather clock, an IV drip bag, and a small wooden box.
History
The Dream Geist appears in the secret final level of the game if one plays on Hard Mode, after defeating Vanny. It attacks the player with the help of multiple smaller Puppets. Upon being defeated, it disappears like the other enemies.
Trivia
- Dream Geist's name can be found as an unused boss title, while its other name serves as the name of its sprite.
- The Dream Geist appears to be a physical manifestation of the notorious Dream Theory, which suggested that the first three games in the Five Nights at Freddy's series were all dreams experienced by the Crying Child. Despite how controversial the theory was, it was actually Scott's intention of the true lore of the Five Nights at Freddy's series if it ended on Five Nights at Freddy's 4.
