Commander Drex, or better known as Drex, is the main antagonist of the 2013 Disney live action film Super Buddies. He is a shapeshifting alien warlord and the tyrannical ruler and leader of the dreaded Darkonian Empire, who wants the power rings for his own evil purposes. He is the archenemy of both Megasis, the Buddies, and Monk-E's former boss.
He was voiced by John Michael Higgins, who also played Varrick in The Legend of Korra and Cad Spinner in Planes: Fire & Rescue.
Drax was an evil dictator who, desiring planet Inspiron's magic rings, attacks the planet and chases Megasis's ship, and after an intese space battle, Drex was lead to believe the Rings of Inspiron were destroyed by the blast when Megasis's ship crashed into Drex's flagship, which was disabled, during the battle.
Landing on Earth and Searching for the Rings[]
While Bartelby was reading Budderball a comic, it was heard that Drex sought to go after the rings by any means possible. The rings were hidden by Megasis for safety, but got lost somewhere in Earth. Years later, when the rings were finally found, somewhere in space aboard Drex's flagship, Monk-E urgently alerted Drex that the rings were activated somewhere on Earth. Drex, newly excited, orders Monk-E to prepare a shuttlecraft. The two of them immediately head to Earth in Drex's personal shuttlecraft which landed near a farm to begin their search. He quickly transformed himself into a pig, thinking that was what humans look like, after being seen by Bartelby's grandfather, he took his truck and drove recklessly around Fernfield. He destroyed a drive-thru window with green electricity at Galaxy Burger thinking that it was another alien.
Later, he learns that the buddies had the rings, but later captured by Sheriff Dan and got locked up in jail. He transforms into Sheriff Dan, thus switching bodies as well. At the farm, he demanded for the rings from the children or that they would perish if they resisted.
Final Battle, Defeat, and Death[]

After receiving the rings, Drex reveals he has caused a meteor to hurtle toward Earth, threatening a devastating impact. During the final battle, he severely electrocutes Megasis/Captain Canine, but the buddies work together, uniting their superpowers to defeat him. Drex reverts to his true form and boards his shuttle to escape Earth. He discovers the rings the children gave him are fakes—a trick! He crashes into the meteor and is instantly destroyed, ending his reign of terror. With Drex defeated, the Darkonians finally make peace with Planet Inspiron and return to their peaceful ways.

Drex is a ruthless, cruel, vicious, highly xenophobic, vile, brutal, relentless, and calculating leader, willing to destroy millions or even billions of innocent people just to receive the rings by force.

Body Possession: Drex is capable of possessing any beings body.
Telepathy: Drex can uses telepathy.
Electrokinesis: Drex is quite capable of firing deadly bolts/streams of electricity from the tips of his fingers. He can also use it to pick up either small or heavy objects and throw them at opponents.
Equipment[]
His Flagship: Drex had a large, powerful, well armed, and imposing Darkonian Empire Battleship that served as both his flagship and mobile headquarters. It remains unknown as to what exactly became of Drex's flagship after he was killed aboard his shuttle, when it collided with the meteor (although it can be safely assumed and speculated that it was left abandoned).
Appearance[]
Drex is the stereotyped "Little green man", he wears a maroon suit with tan accents While Drex can transform, he will always remain green no matter what body he turns into.

Trivia[]
Drex was the fourth villain in the "Air Buddies" series to die. The first three were Warwick, Halloween Hound, and Ubasti.
He shares a similarity to Emeraude from Tales of Graces F and Evanora the Wicked Witch of the East from Oz The Great and Powerful they each had the ability to shoot green electricity out of their hands. Although, Evanora's was only possible due to her necklace.
Villains
