Drilla Doggler is a minor antagonist of Hikari Sentai Maskman, serving as the secondary antagonist of the Episode 6. He was a mole/cricket themed monster, used by the Underground Empire Tube and Commander Baraba in their plan of digging tunnels under the city as part of the Tube's plan to use the bombs to collapse Tokyo.
Biography[]
The episode began when Maskman superhero team were investigating the earthquakes in the town. Later, Drilla Doggler emerged from the ground and Maskman realized that it was him, who drilled beneath the city. A young boy named Norio decided to follow the Doggler and he climbed under the ground and noticed how Doggler stopped and allowed the Ungler Soldiers to plant the bomb under the city. Norio saw Oyobu and Baraba talking and heard their plan of planting the bombs around the city and blowing them up in order to make the city collapse and annihilate Tokyo. However, Norio gabe away himself when he suddenly knocked the rock loose snd do brought the villainous generals's attention.
Takeru arrived and tried to save the boy, but Norio was captured and dragged away by the Foggler, while Baraba attacked and started fighting Takeru. Takeru tried to strike the Drilla Doggler with his sword, but the sword broke on the Doggler's tough back and so the monster successfully esvaped with Norio, forcing Takeru to feel alarm, before his comrades arrived and Maskman retreated. Oyobu arrived and started taunting the heroes that Tokyo was doomed and so Maskman returned to the base and discussed the plan of the Tube with his team and Sanjuuro. Sanjuuro explained to the team that GodHand truly existed and it was the another manifestation of their Aura Power. And thus the Rangers could master it to fight the Tube. The Rangers came together with Sanjuuro to the Tube's secret base, which was discovered by Momoko, who flew around the city and found it.
The Rangers arrived to the base and found the books, which Norio dropped and found the enter to the villains's secret base. The Maskman entered the Tube's underground base and saw Norio chained, while Baraba started the countdown to the bombs's explosion. Baraba and Oyobu escaped, leaving the Rangers to fight the Doggler, save Morio and disable the bombs. This time, Takeru used the God Hand and damaged to Drilla Doggler, while Haruka disabled the bombs. After this the team destroyed the Doggler with their Shot Bomber, and when the beast was ressurected and enlarged by the Okelampa, the Maskman permanently defeated Drilla Doggler with their Great Five Robo.
