Druig is a major villain in the Marvel Comics series Eternals. He was by far the most villainous member of his race. He is the main antagonist of the 2008 eternals series and the secondary antagonist of the crossover event Judgement day.
Biography[]
Druig is one of the many Etrenals born centuries ago as the son of Valkin and the grandson of Uranos. He was the cousin of Ikarsis who he had clashed multiple times and the cousin of Virako. He has looked after humanity since then and he was known as Druig lord of flames and nightmares due to him showing everyone their nightmares and being a torturer as well as a power hungry schemer. His father turned a blind eye to this. Later when making the third host of the celestials Druig alongside Ajak, Valkin, and his uncle Vulko worked on making the dreaming celestial Tialmat. Druig would at some point fight against thor but lost poorly. This soured his relationship with his uncle and cousin Druig had also worked with Gengesis Khan's son to bring war and later in modern times Druig would become a KGB agent enjoying to torment prisoners for interrogations but Ikaris kills him. His body was taken by the Celestals and would later be revived by the machines and later becomes mortal thanks to spirites actions Druig would later become a Prime Minster of Voorzhika and had some parties there. He was killed again by muggers and was revived once more becoming an eternal again.
Later one during the 2021 eternals series Druig appears revived once again by the machine under the servitude of Thanos who had him killed and revived again for betraying him. Druig would explain to Thanos about his grandfather Uranos and his imprisonment later introduces him to uranos about to destroy the machines. Later One Druig manages to outsmart thanos and Bannises him to the timestream allowing Druig to become the new leader of the eternals. Druig would later lead the eternals against the X-men as they believe them to be deviants and would also fight the Avengers in the middle while also secretly uses Uranos as their ultimate weapon against the X-men.

- Druig also appears in the Marvel Cinematic Universe played by Barry Keoghan. Unlike his comics counterpart, the MCU version is far more benevolent and heroic.
