The Drunk Father is a minor character in Season 1 of the Dan the Man web series. He is the abusive and addicted father of the Drunk Man.
Biography[]
As Dan attempts to attack Light Master, he is instructed to enter the Dojo. Inside, Light Master reveals the tragic past of the drunk man. The drunk man is shown fleeing from his alcoholic and abusive father. When his mother tries to protect him, she is accidentally killed by her husband, who later succumbs to alcohol poisoning. These traumatic events continue to haunt the drunk man, despite his attempts to numb the pain through drinking.
After Dan is killed by the police and respawns, the player controlling him encounters the drunk man again. When the drunk man punches Dan, instead of fighting back, Dan chooses to befriend him. Moved by this act of kindness, the drunk man embraces Dan, seeing both him and Josie as his lost family.
