Duane Chow is a minor character in the crime drama series Breaking Bad. He is the owner of Golden Moth Chemical, an industrial chemical manufacturing company that supplies chemicals to Gus Fring's drug empire. Although not evil, he plays a role in the rise of Gus' drug organization.
He was portrayed by the late James Ning.
History[]
Season 3[]
In the episode "Full Measure", Chow is held hostage by assassins of the Cartel at his warehouse. He is rescued by Mike Ehrmantraut, who kills them (with help from Chow on the last captor). However, Mike also shoots Chow in the hand for not informing Gus about the situation.
Season 5[]
Following Gus' death, Chow is questioned by the DEA for his association with Gus and is also on the list of eleven men whom Lydia Rodarte-Quayle wanted Mike to kill before they could implicate them. When Mike refuses, Lydia enlists Chris Mara, who holds Chow captive in his house and forces him to call Mike at gunpoint. Chow is then ordered to sit on the couch and shot in the head by Chris. His death is soon avenged by Mike when he arrives and kills Chris.
