| ~ Dubra to Duke Inferno. |
Dubra, also known as The Scribe, is a minor antagonist in the 2023 science fantasy turn-based tactical role-playing video game Honkai: Star Rail.
She is a member of the Ever-Flame Mansion, a subfaction part of a criminal organization called the Annihilation Gang. She is one of the daughters of Duke Inferno and a loyal follower of Nanook the Destruction.
She is voiced by Su Ziwu in Chinese, Kayli Mills in English, Ruriko Noguchi in Japanese, and Kim I-an in Korean.
Appearance[]
Dubra is a young girl with light lilac hair tied into double looped braids, two aditional twin tails that reach to her knees, a red right eye, a purple left eye and fair skin.
She is seen wearing a white eyepatch on her left eye in the Myriad Celestia Trailer "A Night of Ever-Flame", but it later falls off. On her head she wears a black mitre adorned with a golden cross and a white veil that reaches to her back. She also wears a black mozzetta around her shoulders and chest with two pieces of cloth hanging from behind that reach to her ankles, a lavender ribbon with a red gem, a white dress with puffed sleeves adorned with black ribbons, a purple underdress, a brown strap around her torso attached to a golden book with a cross, white stockings with a cross on her right thight and two black ribbons on her left leg, and two black loafers.
Dubra is seen accompanied by a mysterious, unnamed being. It appears to be a noncorporeal, spirit-like creature with a face similar to a mask made of purple fire and big, black claws. It wears a black robe and some white ribbons tied into a round lump.
Personality[]
Unlike her siblings Caterina and Akash, who show a reckless need to destroy, Dubra is more strategic and cautious about fighting, as she suggested her father to plan ahead before acting. She also seems to be more soft-spoken than her siblings, but just as loyal and respectful to their father. She seems rather stoic, as she is not shown smiling.
It can be assumed she is a devout follower of the Destruction and, like the rest of the members of the Annihilation Gang, hopes to earn the gaze of Nanook.
History[]
Biography[]
Dubra was born as one of the daughters (presumably the youngest) of the crime lord known as Duke Inferno. She is a member of the Ever-Flame Mansion, which is a subfaction of the Annihilation Gang and an enemy of the Jepella Brotherhood.
A Night of Ever-Flame[]
Duke Inferno was having a meeting with his children as they conspire to cause chaos in Penacony, Caterina mentions that she wants to handle it alone. Constance responds with pessimism, saying they might end up dying that way. Akash asks of whenever anyone in the Path of Destruction has ever feared death, but Dubra mentions it is smart to have a plan. Duke Inferno doesn't think of ever retreating as he considers Destruction to be brave and heroic, and that wanting to live is cowardly.
As they plan on leaving for Penacony they were attacked by the "Galaxy Ranger" Acheron. Dubra's father, Duke Inferno, perished in the skirmish. Dubra survived the attack, but her (and her siblings') current whereabouts are unknown.

| ~ The memory of Dubra's voice in the music box. |
Black Swan, as a memokeeper, is capable of reading the memories present on objects. She listens to the memories present in the invitation sent to the Annihilation Gang by The Family and hears Duke Inferno talking with his children, and Dubra's voice can be heard. As of now, only Dubra's voice is present in the game, as she has yet to make a physical appearance.

Trivia[]
- She has a similar hairstyle Kirari Momobami from Kakegurui.
- There are many references to Christianity in her design:
- She wears a mitre and a mozzetta, both are clothing worn by members of the Christian clergy.
- She is seen holding an apple in the Myriad Celestia Trailer "A Night of Ever-Flame", which is a reference to the Forbidden fruit.
- She often has her hands together with her fingers crossing, a common way to pray.
- There are multiple crosses on her clothing.
- She wears a strap with a golden book, which references a Bible.
- Due to Duke Inferno being a Fire Demon and his children being humans/humanoids (and considering they do not look like siblings in the slightest), many players theorize they are not a biological family, but rather a crime family with no ties of blood, and they merely act as a biological family. However, this has not been confirmed.
- However, it is also possible Duke Inferno's children are a creation of some sort, but this has not been confirmed either.
