Dude is the secondary antagonist of 20th Century Studios's action-comedy film Free Guy. He is an NPC which is the stronger yet dumber version of Guy and sent by Antwan Hovachelik.
He was physically portrayed by Aaron Reed, while being voiced and facial performed by Ryan Reynolds, who also played the titular character in the film, Deadpool in X-Men film series, Jerry Hickfang in The Voices, Juggernaut in Deadpool 2, and Eteon Director in Hobbs & Shaw. Like Reynolds, Reed also portrayed Juggernaut, in Deadpool & Wolverine.
Biography[]
Dude was originally a character for the upcoming Free City 2 who was the designed by the art nerds at Soonami Studios and modified by Antwan Hovachelik. Dude first appears during the climax of the film where he is downloaded into Free City by Antwan to kill Guy. Dude surpasses Guy and Buddy despite the lack of intelligence. However, Guy is able to befriend him by giving the glasses to him. Dude is later seen with other NPCs escaping to the tower during Antwan's attack on the servers as Guy makes it to the island.
Dude is later put into Free Life with other NPCs. He was last seen walking with Guy until Buddy appears.
