Duke Wood is a minor antagonist from Fantasy Wars, Elven Legacy. He was a general of the kingdom of Mirralia, whose army included robbers.
Biography[]
Wood was a knight and later one of the generals of the army of the kingdom of Mirralia and he participated in the invasion against the kingdom of Leranse in the autumn of 634 a. M. v., and the army's main leader was Baron Maraksky and the have an ally, Count Shegursky. Wood led an army that included robbers and it was a good time for plundering, and he proclaimed himself a duke. However, his rule did not last long, because after Father Dexter liberated the castle of Maar with a small army of the Inquisition, he united with the army of King Derrick Pfeil and together they set out to defeat the three leaders. Duke Wood was the first target, whose army was not really capable of striking, rather he tried to force the enemy to fight in the forests with rangers and scouts, but they were experienced veterans who did not fall for tricks and traps and advanced quickly. After killing the raiders, they reached the duke’s land estate, where he himself had only a few soldiers and his estate was protected by only one wall from one direction. The situation was clearly hopeless for him, so Wood attempted to escape and leave his men behind, but when they found out what he was planning, he was killed by his own men.
