These witches are minor antagonists of the first Shrek film. They once lived in Duloc before being exiled to Shrek's swamp by Lord Farquaad.
Shrek[]
When the Duloc Guards were rounding up the fairy-tale characters, one guard snatched a broom from a witch's hands and broke it in half.
Later, several witches were seen at Shrek's swamp, and a few of them flew past Shrek, knocking him to the ground and cackling with delight. One was also serving soup from her cauldron to a few of them, as seen when Shrek had yelled at them.

One of the witches was seen among the fairy-tale characters, named Wicked Witch.
Trivia[]
Since these witches are not from Far Far Away, none of them can be the Unidentified Witch who cursed Fiona.
