Duran is a supporting unseen antagonist in the 2023 Science-Fantasy Turn-Based Role-Playing Video Game Honkai: Star Rail. He is the first Warhead of the Borisin and the infamous mythical / Folk "Hero" among them. He's remembered for the Borisin Supremacy and has attained Immortality from Yaoshi, and most of the ballads dramatizes the justification of Foxian enslavement, and even genocide. He invents his own "Elixir" bestowed by Yaoshi, from the sacrificial Borisins and Foxian victims, through a form of Genetic Sorcery, named Lunar Embryo. In which, he replaced his heart with a crimson moon and will pass it down to his descendants.

According to Dr. Zongguang, the Cultural Anthropology Expertise of Xianzhou Luofu's Grand Virtue Academy in his research report named "Borisin Folk Song Collection", Borisins originally weren't immortal beasts. The ballad speaks out during the plague catasthrope of Abundance in Verdantia, Duran was said to be born to the chieftain 72 days after that day. The folk song of Borisin is said to dramatize Borisin Supremacy and enact the debasement/dehumanization of Foxians.
