Dylan Lokensgard

Dylan Lokensgard is a mutant and a antagonist in the series X-Files.

Biography

He lives alone with his mother, and seems to be a very ordinary teenager. However, he is in love with a girl, who is however with another boy together. But when this boy carries out a dangerous test, where the girl could be injured, Dylan kills the boy by commanding several flies to eat him inwardly.

This incident brings the FBI agents Scully, Dogget and Reyes to investigate in this matter. While Dylan tries to avoid the agent, the girl who is in love with him is approached by his other classmates. He also attacks them with insects, but they survive these attacks.

During the investigation, Scully finally recognizes that Dylan was responsible for these attacks. When she and an insect investigator look for traces in his parents' house, they are suddenly attacked by Dylan's mother. At the same time, Dylan and the girl admit their love to each other, but on their first kiss, the girl notices that Dylan is not a human, and flees frightened.

Dylan persecutes her, but is stopped by his classmates, who force him to sit down with them in the car. They now suspect that he is not a human, and killed their friend. Dylan admits this, too, and attacks her. In doing so, he also causes a car accident, but no one is seriously injured. When Reyes, the agent, require him, he also attacks her.

He finds the girl and wants to flee with her, but his mother stops him. It turns out that she is also a mutant, and Dylan has his special powers from her. In addition, she has already killed four humans, and the bodies hidden in her house, so they both have to flee. To protect the girl from his mother, he separates from her and leaves the city with his mother.

At the end of the episode, Scully suspects Dylan and his mother are a kind of hybrid of humans and insects. And the girl who is in love with Dylan gets a "greeting" from him, flying several fireflies outside her window, and showing a love message.

Powers and Abilities

Insect control: Dylan can produce pheromones, which cause insects to do what they want from them. According to a theory, these pheromones resemble insect-typical sexual pheromones. And on the first attack only female flies were involved.

Cocoon generation: Dylan can spray a kind of spider webs from his mouth to wrap his victims. His mother, on the other hand, woven the corpses in her house into cocoons.

Acid generation: Dylan can also spit acid. This way he has freed himself from the car. He has melted a hole in the disc with acid. Dylan's mother probably killed her victims in this way.
