Dyspear is the leader of Dys Dark and the main antagonist in Go! Princess Precure. She conquered the Hope Kingdom with her commanders, the Three Musketeers. The final battle revealed that she is despair for itself.

She was voiced by Sakakibara Yoshiko.

Biography

Long ago in ancient times, Dyspear was known as the darkness that emerged from the darkest depths of Hope Kingdom's forest. The previous Princess Pretty Cure managed to defeat her and sealed her away. But they knew she was would return even stronger than before and that is why the legendary warriors decided to create a fourth Princess Perfume. Then after she returned, she occupied a place called the Forest of Despair where thorns were growing. One day in the Hope Kingdom, her influence reached the princess of the Hope Kingdom, Towa, and then she tricked her into coming with her, promising to make her a Grand Princess. Just then, Towa fell into her trap and she succeeded in bringing down the hopes and dream of the citizens by capturing their symbol of hope. She decided to brainwash Towa and raise her as her own daughter Twilight to see how Prince Kanata suffers. And after that, her commanders began to lock the dreams of the people of the human world away, and to summon the Zetsuborg. And when the new Princess Precure was assembled to fight between dreams and despair, her commanders fought against them. And after the destruction of Close, Twilight came along against them, but Twilight was later released from her control. Then when she lost the battle against Cure Scarlet, she went back to the Forest of Despair to heal herself. And when she was healed, Close, who had returned from the dead, informed her that he had planted the seeds of despair as she had commanded, and she appointed Shut, Stop & Freeze to follow Close's commandments and gather despair for the seeds of despair. And all the collected despair, including Cure Flora's despair, made the seeds grow and cover the whole human world, but the thorns in the forest began to disappear when Cure Flora rediscovered her dream, and with the new Dress Up Key, Princess Precure won the battle. Then, when the last battle was about to begin, she and her commanders attacked the human world, and in the battle new thorns of the forest of despair began to grow, imprisoning all the humans in the cages of despair, except for the students and teachers of the Noble Academy. During the battle, when Princess Precure was falling into despair, their friends joined the battle, and they gave them the power of their dreams so that they could defeat her. And when they became Grand Princesses, they used the new Dress Up Key, and defeated her with it. She has also been seen in Pretty Cure All Stars: Singing with Everyone ♪ Miraculous Magic! in the film with other destroyed antagonists reawakened by a sorceress named Solcieel.
