The Eagle Knight is a member of the Gorgonzola Goblins and an antagonist in Pocky & Rocky. It is the boss of stage 4.
In the original Japanese version, KiKi KaiKai - Nazo no Kuro Manto -, the boss of stage 4 is the Harpy.
Biography[]
The Eagle Knight appeared before Pocky and Rocky as they reached the end of the Gorgonzola pirate ship. It told them that Black Mantle was in the Gorgonzola Fortress, but proclaimed that they would not reach it because they would die there. The Eagle Knight then attacked the pair hoping to kill them before they could reach the Gorgonzola Fortress. However, Pocky and Rocky were able to defeat it, causing it to plummet to the ground from the ship upon being beaten. Its fate afterwards is not known.
With the Eagle Knight out of the way, Pocky and Rocky were able to safely reach the Gorgonzola Fortress, allowing them to progress onward in their journey.
Trivia[]
- The reason the Eagle Knight replaced the Harpy in the English localization of the KiKi KaiKai game is likely because of the scantily clad nature of the Harpy's design, which is seen as inappropriate for children in the west.
