Edward "Eddie" Dominguez is a minor antagonist of the 1995 film Bad Boys, the first installment in the franchise of the same name.
He was a former corrupt cop and a henchman, working for drug kingpin Fouchet.
He was portrayed by Emmanuel Xuereb.
Early Life[]
Dominguez was born in Florida and later joined the Miami Police Department, rising through the ranks to become a promising detective. However, his career deteriorated when he became a notorious drug addict and corrupt cop, eventually leading to his forced resignation. After leaving the force, Dominguez met French drug kingpin Fouchet and joined his crew. Together, they plotted to rob the Miami Police Station's heroin stash, using the reluctant assistance of one of Eddie's former girlfriends, who worked as a secretary at the station.
Present[]
Miami Heroin Operation[]
Fouchet, Ferguson, Casper, Kuni, Noah Trafficante, and Eddie lead a plan to rob heroin stashed at the Miami police headquarters. During the heist, Fouchet fatally shoots a decoy member as a distraction for the police. Inside the headquarters, the crew successfully seizes the heroin. Eddie, however, secretly takes some of the heroin to feed his drug addiction.
Death[]
Eager to celebrate their successful job and unwilling to wait for their upcoming deal, Eddie hires Julie Mott and Maxine Logan as escorts to his apartment, which once belonged to Al Capone. After Julie excuses herself to the bathroom, Ferguson, Casper, Noah, and Fouchet enter the apartment and meet with Maxine. The crew is suspicious of Eddie for bringing in "outsiders."
While comforting Maxine, Fouchet suddenly shoots her with a pillow. He then shoots Eddie in the knee, chastising him for not waiting for their deal and for not realizing that "hookers talk," something Eddie should have known as a former cop. Wounded, Eddie tells Fouchet that his betrayal helped them successfully rob the police. Not wanting to waste another bullet, Fouchet gives Casper and Ferguson permission to kill Eddie.
Casper and Ferguson confront Eddie. Casper mocks him for angering Fouchet, while Ferguson, indicating "nothing personal," shoots Eddie twice in the chest, killing him.
