Eddie Skinner is the main antagonist of the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit season 12 finale "Smoked". He is a sadistic and ruthless career criminal who betrays everyone around him.
He was played by Michael Raymond-James
History[]
Before the story, Eddie was a petty criminal responsible for petty larceny, check kiting, boosting cars, assault, battery, and burglary. because of this, he was sent to prison for 15 years and later became an informant for the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives)
Smoked[]
Eddie was solicited by hairdresser Luke Ronson to harass a woman Ronson raped, Annette Fox, to stop the trial against him. She wasn't dissuaded, so Eddie stole her purse. When she how strong-willed she was, Eddie was spiteful enough he shot Annette in her head in front of her daughter Jenna. When he was arrested on suspicion, he called ATF Special Agent Greer to bail him out, and Greer pulled him for his work in a cigarette smuggling operation. The agency agreed to hand Eddie over in exchange for the operation going through, so Detective Elliot Stabler participated as well. The bust went well, but Eddie hit Greer with a crowbar and fled. He then took Ronson at gunpoint to get the payment Ronson promised. Stabler and Detective Olivia Benson arrested him after a standoff. In exchange for a significantly reduced sentence, Eddie agreed to sellout Ronson out, as well as Greer, who provided Eddie the gun. Eddie, Ronson, and Greer were all placed in the same sell. When Jenna saw them all, she pulled a gun she bought off the street and shot them all, but her was so frenzied she killed and injured other people, including frequent informant and police ally Sister Peg. Jenna was about to drop the gun when she realized what she did, but Eddie swore at her and said he should've shot her too. When Jenna moved to executed him, Stabler shot her dead. It's known if Eddie lived or died.
