~ Walker while torturing Donut.

Officer Edward Walker is a minor antagonist in the fourth season of HBO's The Wire. He is a corrupt Western District patrol officer who regularly terrorizes street youths.

He is portrayed by Jonnie Louis Brown.

Biography[]

Bubbles tries to report being mugged to Walker, but Walker does nothing about it and instead takes the bootlegged DVDs that Bubbles is selling. He is also the one to arrest Omar Little, and when doing so he pockets the ring that Omar stole from Marlo Stanfield.

His antagonistic behavior towards street youths brings him into conflict with Michael Lee, Randy Wagstaff, and the rest of their friends, which starts when he steals money from Randy. Later, he spots Donut going on a joyride in a stolen SUV, he pursues Donut and in the ensuing chase, Donut crashes into several other cars. He eventually catches up with Donut, and, angry that Donut just made him fill out extra paperwork by crashing into other cars, breaks four of Donut's fingers.

Michael Lee avenges Donut by robbing Walker at gunpoint for both money and the ring. To add insult to injury, Michael then dumps a bucket of yellow paint on him. Walker tells his fellow officers that he was attacked by a group of Bloods in a declaration of war against the police, which nobody believes.
